I’ve been a professional financial planner and investment representative for Freedom 55 Financial and Quadrus Investment Services Ltd. since 1996. I incorporated my practice in 2006 and since then, I've been operating under Atherton Financial Group Inc., where I represent Canada Life and Quadrus Investment Services Ltd. I’m able to provide expert advice on industry-leading products that are offered by some highly recognized names.
It’s important that my clients understand their investment profile. That’s why I follow a proven planning process which includes understanding my clients’ goals, their current financial position and a review of their sources of income and savings. I develop a confidential customized retirement investment plan and review and monitor the plan on an ongoing basis.
Prior to joining London Life, I managed the A&P store at the Huronia Mall in Midland, Ontario. I believe working in the food industry and with the public enhanced my ability to work independently and prepared me for my current practise.
I enjoy camping, hiking and traveling with my family. During the winter months I play in a recreational hockey league, and in several competitive tournaments throughout the season. I’m also a proud sponsor of and player in the Hockey Helps the Homeless tournament, held annually in Barrie, Ontario.

After graduating high school in 2008, I started my post-secondary education at Niagara College in the dental assisting program. I graduated in 2012 with my dental hygiene diploma from Canadore College. I worked as a dental hygienist in the Midland and Barrie area for 4 years. Near the end of 2015 thoughts of changing careers were becoming more and more regular because of chronic wrist and back pain. I was introduced to life insurance and investments after the sudden loss of my father in 2016 and saw firsthand the importance of being prepared. After going through that experience, I knew that I wanted to help families protect themselves from tragedies while also educating them on their finances to make their goals attainable.
I joined Atherton Financial Group Inc. in 2019 and currently working towards becoming a Certified Financial Planner.
